It is May now and the blog was last updated on December last year. Poor my little Coan. Ummi was busy with other thing huh? ;).
A few things had happened in her life. Let see...
She was 8 on the 16th March 2010. Ummi bought a cake for her to be cut at school. She was happy, Alhamdulillah. There's no celebration at home as Ummi is trying to avoid celebrating birthday party. It is haraam. Our Rasul s.a.w and companions never celebrate their birthday. It is only the culture of christians who celebrate birthday. Ummi will do her best. InsyaAllah. As Coan grows older, Ummi will slowly tell you about it. We used to have celebration and Coan seems to be very happy about it. It is quite difficult for Ummi to abruptly cut it off. Ummi is minimizing things bit by bit. InsyaAllah.
When we went back to Malaysia, Ummi managed to bring Coan and Kakak to the hair dresser. You were reluctant to have a hair cut but Ummi thought, your hair was long enough. Besides, you like to bite your hair. What if there's germs? Gross!! Also, you like to let your hair free without hair band. Definitely a big NO to Ummi. Alhamdulillah, the chinese lady did a good job towards your hair though you're complaining after that.
Recently, Ummi found Coan is quite hardworking and proactive. Alhamdulillah. MasyaAllah Tabarakallah! Ummi still remember how hard it was to get you complete your homework. Ummi strained herself teaching Coan to read until her tear dropped sometimes. Allah knows best. It is almost over now. Alhamdulillah. Coan can read much better now. Ummi doesn't have to push you that hard anymore. Syukur to Allah. He is full of mercy.
